True to its name, a swift bird in flight, incredibly agile and nimble. We were crossing a countryside bridge when we found a few hundred of these along with a few different swallows. Took it up as a challenge to capture a few in flight, and after over 5-600 shots in an hour, barely a few came out satisfactorily. The swift's are one of the few birds that never touch the ground in their lifetime. There was even an article that they sleep while flying - not sure how much that is true though.
